PaperWise ecological paper

For orders on 80 grams paper (A4 size), we use paper from PaperWise. This paper has the same quality as regular paper but is made from agricultural waste. The use of agricultural waste instead of wood results in lower environmental impact, making this a more ecological choice. We find this very important, and therefore we have made this our standard paper type for 80 grams.

Environmental benefits

The agricultural waste replaces the wood fibers from trees, so fewer trees have to be especially planted and cut down. Instead, these trees can remain in place to take up CO2 and convert it to oxygen, and become regular forests again with a wide variety of life and biodiversity. Agricultural land can now deliver two products: food, and paper. This resource is also available over 40 times faster than wood from trees, and the yields per hectare are almost 1,5 times as high. Additionally, the production process of PaperWise is carbon neutral.

Despite being made from agricultural waste, the paper still has the same whiteness and quality you are used to from other paper. Agricultural waste

The agricultural waste that the paper is made from consists of leaves and stems. By using this, the environment is burdened less, and the paper can be recycled up to 7 times! By replacing the fiber from trees, it also gives nature the ability to grow back again.
