Submitting your flyer

Margins

Margins

When submitting, please note the 5 mm safety margin, because anything too close to the edge can be cut off. So keep a little distance with your text, so everything remains neatly readable!

CMYK color profile

CMYK color profile

Make sure your file is in CMYK, otherwise the colors may look slightly different. Colors you see on your screen (RGB) are nice, but for print CMYK is the boss!

Resolution

Resolution

Please submit your file at a minimum of 300 DPI, otherwise your flyer may be blurrier than you would like. The higher the sharpness, the sharper the result!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the resolution of my file high enough?

To ensure that the quality of the print work is as good as possible, it is important that the supplied file has a resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch). To check whether the resolution is good enough, you can view the delivery conditions for a beginner via this link.

Can I also have my file printed without white borders?

Yes, in most cases this is possible. However, it is important that the file is delivered in the correct format and does not contain any white borders. You can choose borderless printing if you:

  1. Want to deliver a bleed (bleed area);

  2. If you have a design that extends to the edge and must be produced as such.

The difference between borderless printing and non-borderless printing is also shown in the preview. If you have any doubts after seeing the preview, you can opt for an extensive check or leave a comment. Read more about our submitting conditions here.

Do I need to add bleed and crop marks to my document?

It is not strictly necessary to supply your file with bleed and crop marks, but for a bleed file with a nice layout we do recommend it. If no bleed is supplied, we enlarge the file by 1%. This is not visible in the final product but ensures that we can cut the document nicely and cleanly.

This is further explained in the submitting conditions for the expert. This page can be found here.

What type of paper do you recommend?

Each application requires a different type of paper, we have set up a separate page for this: overview of paper types.
