Choosing paper sizes? Fixed
You probably already know A4. It’s the standard size for many Word documents and home printers. Handy, but definitely not always the best choice. A poster can go bigger. A flyer often works better smaller. And a booklet should feel good in your hands.
We make it easy to choose the paper size that fits your print project. From big and bold to small and practical: you create the design, we help you get it printed right.
Below you’ll find the standard available sizes from the A series, but of course you can also go for B sizes.
A-sizes
The A series of paper sizes runs from A0 to A10. It’s the best-known paper size series. You probably use A4 the most, but A3, A5 and A6 are common too.
All A sizes have the same aspect ratio: 1:√2. Sounds technical, but the idea is simple. Each size fits neatly into the next. That means you can easily scale your design up or down without the proportions getting weird.
A0 is the largest size in the A series. It measures 841 x 1189 mm. Fold A0 exactly in half and you get A1. Fold A1 in half and you get A2. After that come A3, A4, A5, A6 and A7.
What can you use the sizes for?
A0 is large and great for eye-catching posters or presentations.
A1 and A2 are useful for large-format print projects.
A3 gives you extra space for posters, diagrams or visuals.
A4 is ideal for documents, reports, forms and manuals.
A5 works well for booklets, flyers and compact information.
A6 is handy for cards, small flyers or invitations.
A7 is small and practical for things like tickets, cards or labels.
The best part about this series? You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Choose the size that fits your goal, upload your file and we’ll take care of the rest!
B-sizes and ABRI
Of course, A sizes aren’t the only sizes we produce. You can also choose B sizes. These formats are often used for posters and are pretty large.
B0 is bigger than A0, measuring 1000 x 1414 mm. Need to fit in a lot of information? Then B0 is a great choice.
B1 is half the size of B0, just like with the A sizes. That makes it smaller, but still perfect for large-format print projects.
B2 measures 500 x 707 mm, making it half a metre wide. Perfect for beautiful images, posters or visuals that deserve space.
Want to go really big? Choose an ABRI format. This is the size used for bus shelter posters, so it’s made to stand out. Need something other than a standard size? You can always enter your own custom size. That way, you know your format matches your design perfectly.
