The benefits of folding and stapling

Folding and stapling your documents has a couple of benefits: you can put it down flat on the table, you can flip through the pages easily, and images can you can put a larger continuous image over two pages next to each other. You can also choose between a variety of covers to give your product a unique appearance.

Printed covers

We recommend printing the cover of your magazine on a heavier paper type than the interior of your magazine. This will make your magazine sturdier and less easily damaged. You can choose between 9 different, sturdy paper types for your cover. If you also want your magazine to be splash waterproof and stains, then choose to have it laminated with our matt lamination option. Of course, a heavier cover is not always needed, so you can also choose to have all the pages of your magazine printed on the same paper type.

Folding and stapling vs Adhesive binding

For both products, you can order a continuous cover. If you want text of clear images on the spine, then choose the adhesive binding option for your book. The benefit of a book that is folded and stapled is that you can put it down flat on the table, which you can't do with an adhesive binding book. If the document you want to print has a lot of pages, folding and stapling might not be an option. This is because the maximum number of pages for the adhesive binding option is much higher.

Extra finishing options

To customize your book to fit your own ideas, you can choose between a couple of extra options. These include:

  • Round corners: To give your magazine or brochure a more playful appearance, you can choose round corners on the right side of your magazine.

  • Matt lamination cover: By giving your magazine a matt lamination layer it will look good longer. This is because the layer protects your magazine against scratches and water splashes. Additionally, it gives some extra sturdiness.

  • Glossy cover: Choosing a glossy cover is especially great for covers with photos on them, as the gloss makes them look even better. Additionally, this layer also protects your magazines from water splashes.

  • Borderless printing: if your document contains images or colors that continue to the edge of the page, then choose the borderless printing option. That way your magazine will not have white borders that aren't in your file.
