What is inkjet?
An inkjet printer is a printer that uses small droplets of liquid ink. These droplets of ink are then sprayed onto the paper to make the print. At Print&Bind we mainly use this inkjet technology.
What is the difference with a laser printer?
A laser printer does not use ink, but toner. Toner is a powder that is melted onto the page under high temperatures.
What are the advantages of inkjet printers?
Some advantages of inkjet printers, compared to laser printers, are a larger colour range, smoother solid areas, a matt appearance on uncoated paper and grey tones that are really grey.
