Uncoated or coated?
Paper can, simply put, be divided into two varieties: coated or uncoated. With uncoated paper you will see a clear structure in the paper. Coated paper has a light coating applied to the paper. This makes the paper completely smooth. Although it is sometimes a pity that the texture disappears on coated paper, it does offer an important advantage: the colors of the print become brighter. Because the ink is less absorbed into the paper by the coating, it remains on the surface more, which ensures more intense colors.
