What does resolution mean?

Resolution is a term for the number of dots that make up an image. The resolution is therefore decisive for the quality of a print, as a file with a low resolution will lead to blurry results. Resolution is expressed in DPI, which stands for Dots (or pixels) Per Inch. The more DPI, the higher the resolution and the sharper the image.

What resolution is required for printing?

To guarantee the quality of the prints, it is important that the resolution is sufficient. For optimal quality, we recommend a resolution of 300 DPI. A higher resolution is not necessary, and with a lower resolution, the result may be blurry.
