What is borderless printing?

Borderless printing means printing "from edge to edge". This option is intended for documents with a full-page design, as it prevents the creation of white borders around the document after printing.

Example: borderless and non-borderless printing

Flyers with a full-page design

Borderless printing

These flyers have a design that fills the entire page, and therefore these are printed using the borderless option.

Pages without a design at the edges

Not printed borderless

For this document, nothing has to be printed close to the edges of the document, and therefore borderless printing for this document is not needed. The result would be the same when borderless printing was chosen.

How are borderless prints made?

To make a borderless print, we print your document on a sheet that is slightly larger than the size you ordered. This sheet is then “cut clean”. This means that we cut away the white edges and some bleed.
